49 things you might not know about Metallica!


1.The name of Metallica occurred to a friend of Lars brainstorm to name his rock fanzine. Lars persuaded him to use another name, and stayed with Metallica for his band 

2. The first album of the band originally was to be called Metal Up Your Ass, but the record company asked to be changed. Kill 'Em All was the brainchild of Cliff Burton, aimed at people fearful of the record. Later came a bootleg with the original title and cover. 

3.Metallica lost his first nomination for a Grammy for best metalhead act / hard rock .... Jethro Tull against indeed Jethro Tull was not at the ceremony his manager assured them that Metallica win 


4.Orion is so named because the band thought that the middle part of the song sounded like space
